A day in the life
- Work closely with many different teams and stakeholders and become the focal point for all Marketplace related analytical matters in the organization.
- Collaborate with the Yield Team and other relevant stakeholders to develop strategies and models for optimizing revenue and yield across the network. Continuously monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Conduct ad hoc research to address specific business questions or challenges. Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Create, maintain and monitor data models and ongoingly assess their performance and value to the business.
- Get your hands dirty working with big data sets to provide useful actionable insights related to products and processes – for both product and business stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Statistics / Information Systems or a related technical field a must
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- 2+ years of proven hands-on experience in a data science
- Experience in a data analytics role or equivalent a big advantage
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques from the real world
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, visualization and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for driving continuous improvement
- Fast and independent learner
- Experience in running and analyzing AB tests a plus
- Experience in the digital space a must, and in Ad-tech a plus
