We’re looking for a Client Partner (Global Partnership Lead) - China to join Team Snapchat! You will be responsible for developing and implementing our commercial strategy for the Chinese advertising market. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams within Snap, as well as external partners, to grow advertising sales in China.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement Snap’s commercial strategy for China, in particular through partnership with sales representatives and other commercial partners in the market

  • Become an evangelist for Snapchat ad products in the Chinese media community, including through direct meetings with advertisers, marketing events, trainings, etc.

Coach the Sales Partners’ to effectively deliver Snap’s narrative and product positioning, the ad offerings for best market and customer fit

  • Enable partner success through detailed training, resources, and thought leadership

  • Where appropriate, develop C-level relationships with strategic clients 

  • Become an expert in your market or region with deep knowledge about the key players (both platforms and customers), local customs, and regional trends

  • Act as an advocate for your market internally, highlighting the key needs and driving strategic initiatives for your market across functions (product, platform, narrative, etc.)

  • Own marketing and communication initiatives for the region - developing marketing plans, building content, and representing Snapchat at events, among others - measuring the effectiveness and ROI of those initiatives

  • Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the book of business, and inform leadership about trends and opportunities

  • Deliver on quarterly revenue and goals for your market(s)

  • Build and manage relationships with Sales Partners, including assisting in the contract and negotiations process, quota setting, and ongoing performance management

  • Minimum Qualifications: 

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent

    • 5 to 10 years in media sales, media buying, partner management, management consulting, digital advertising and/or equivalent digital marketing roles

    • Strong knowledge of the Chinese advertising landscape (especially export advertising)

    • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding revenue goals

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong analytical skills with a “feel” for numbers 

    • Experience in export retail & gaming industry

    • Ability to engage and partner with C-Level/VP level executives

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • Ability to manage multiple projects at once 

    • Passionate about Snapchat and up for the challenge of building something from the ground up.
