JOB SUMMARY: R&D Operations Google Workspace & Data Analytics Developer
The mission of the R&D Operations team is to build the infrastructure and services needed to accelerate the Research and Development work at Natera. We want to build tools that enable our scientists and our research partners to focus on inventing and developing breakthrough molecular testing products.
JOB LOCATION: Location: San Carlos, CA, Austin, TX, or Remote (US), CA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with R&D stakeholders to identify R&D workflows that will benefit from streamlining and automation.
- Design and develop Google App Scripts to automate workflows within Google Workspace
- Develop, deploy and maintain various pipelines for automating R&D operations dashboards
- Collect, analyze and structure data to develop insights about key business questions of material interest
- Create reports based on both internal and external data sources.
- Participate in conversations around and assist in creating data governance standards for R&D workflows
- Present findings from data mining in a narrative that is clear and easily digestible by various stakeholders regardless of their background in data analysis. This means clear charts, easy to understand metrics along with strong presentation skills, and ability to think on your feet to respond to questions.
- Continuously work to maintain flow of data sources and increase data quality, integrity, and reliability from existing data sources.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related field in a high stakes environment with demonstrated history of project ownership and execution.
- Knowledge of Google APIs (Sheets, Apps Script, et cetera) along with Google Cloud console and sufficient JavaScript experience to code Apps Scripts.
- Knowledge of Google Colaboratory Notebooks and sufficient Python skills write data analytics notebooks using pandas, numpy, matplotlib, etc.
- Excellent SQL skills and Snowflake data warehouse experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a narrative story format with a business mindset.
- Attention to detail, autodidactic, and resourceful
- Strong multi-tasking skills along with ownership of a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities
