Job Description:
Reporting to the VP, Digital Marketing, this role will lead the development of comprehensive product and feature go-to-market strategies, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and marketing optimization of the in-app customer journey to drive usage and stickiness. Leveraging your expertise in data-driven marketing strategies and customer journey optimization, this role will also create and drive B2C and SMB customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value through strategic lifecycle marketing initiatives.
This role will collaborate closely with Product and Analytics teams to understand the roadmap enhancements and leverage insights to create memorable experiences and improve the customer experience to drive revenue growth, and work closely with cross-functional teams, leaveragin insights for effective campaigns and targeted discount strategies to improve customer retention and achieve growth across KPIs.

What you'll do:
- Develop persona-led comprehensive go-to-market strategies to deliver value proposition, positioning, and channels for optimal promotion.
- Identify and promote up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Define and lead the messaging and strategy in-app triggered communications (email, push, SMS, pop ups, etc.)
- Develop and execute comprehensive lifecycle marketing and discount strategies across various customer stages and personas to enhance customer engagement, retention, lifetime value and win-back.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns across email and other relevant channels.
- Utilize customer segmentation, data analyses, and employ A/B testing to deliver personalized and targeted communications throughout the customer journey.
- Create the lifecycle marketing testing and optimization program, inclusive of creative and industry best practices, to maximize impact of email marketing campaigns.
- Drive data strategy, inclusive of understanding collection, consent and usage, hygiene and system flows.
- Define key performance metrics and develop reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing campaigns and track measurement through each customer touchpoint.
- Model customer obsession as a player coach by deeply understanding the core customer, keeping VoC top of mind for all strategies and evangelizing the customer experience across the organization.
- Partner closely with Product to understand and influence the product roadmap upcoming launches and improvements that impact the customer experience.
- Partner with Analytics to understand Churn indicators and develop holistic strategies to reduce customer churn.
- Partner with MarTech and Ops to understand and drive the strategy of customer communications preferences.
- Build and lead a high performing product and lifecycle marketing team.
- Have an ‘always be testing' mentality, continuing to push boundaries and try new ideas.
- Work closely with the core marketing disciplines - Creative, Site & Optimization, Media, Martech & Ops and External Communications - to ensure GTM strategies fall in line within holistic campaigns.
- Set a standard for having a data-driven culture that relies on data to make decisions and reports out results regularly.
Experience you'll bring:
- 10+ years in consumer performance marketing experience
- A successful track record in building consumer product strategies with the ability to operationalize them through custom integrated planning and executions.
- An exceptionally strategic thinker and communicator with an inquisitive mind that is comfortable both in the detail and at a high level.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing strategies and initiatives
- Ability to influence at all levels of an organization, utilizing interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly across departments as well as manage internal and external partners in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Creative thinking and innovation mindset, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Two or more (2+) years leading teams
- Three or more (3+) years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience
- Experience targeting enterprise tech leaders
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- May require having been a people leader at the M3 level. If first people leadership role, incumbents have typically spent several years in one or more P4-level roles and are viewed as experts in the functional area.
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $110,400 - $136,300 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
