A role you will love
The EMEA Payroll Specialist is a cross-functional role, responsible for providing consistent payroll service and support to Jersey, Spain and Ireland and business units across the EMEA payroll department. The role will ensure accurate and timely preparation and processing of the company's monthly payrolls and support enquiries from employees and line managers.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare input for multiple payrolls across Spain, Jersey and Ireland.
- Review, and reconcile the outsourced payroll reports according to the monthly timetable.
- Complete monthly tasks, such as post-commit reporting and KPIs
- Maintain current knowledge of local legislation affecting payroll.
- Effectively manage business enquiries and escalate payroll issues.
- Maintain good business relationships with outsourced payroll providers.
- Support the creation of payroll playbook documents.
- Secure smooth audits of payroll processes.
- Work closely with the accounting team to update and maintain accurate cost centres and GL codes.
- Perform related Payroll Specialist duties as assigned
What will you bring to the role?
- Significant relevant experience in payroll processing.
- Working knowledge of payroll across a range of Spain (required), Jersey and Ireland (desired) countries including statutory requirements such as year-end reporting.
- Must be proficient in Spanish and English languages at a professional working level.
- Knowledge of payroll and HR systems (ADP and/or Oracle Fusion experience desired)
- Experienced in working with third party payroll vendors.
- Experienced in working across multiple payroll entities (desired)
