Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in internal and executive communications with technology products or services.
- Experience in a business, media, or non-profit environment.
- Experience working in a communications capacity on issues related to workplace culture and policy.
- Experience providing communications guidance to executive leaders and devising communications strategy.
- Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects in an organized fashion, and work with a global team of colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work in complex issues in a fluid environment.

About the job
As a member of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to help communicate with journalists and other thought leaders; devise specific communications materials and campaigns; engage in face-to-face meetings with commentators and other opinion formers; and develop print and web-based material supporting these campaigns. We're looking for great communicators who can understand complex issues and explain them in person and also via well written, simple blog posts, FAQs, video scripts and more.
In this role, you will work across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and specifically in Israel to drive our internal communications strategy to inform and inspire our employees locally. You will focus on our Israel site and how we keep employees connected to our culture and values. You will work with Israel's leadership team on employee related communications, working closely with our EMEA and global communications teams. You will come up with innovative, culturally relevant ways to engage employees and make Google the desirable place to work.
Responsibilities
- Work with leaders and cross-functional teams (e.g., People Operations, Legal, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Policy, Engineers, Marketing, Site Program Managers) to create and lead internal communications to our employees in Israel.
- Create strategic communications campaigns to engage and inform employees in the region.
- Write communications, events, presentations and talking points.
- Drive creative internal communications campaigns and help to manage workplace issues.
- Recommend solutions to enhance and build strong cultures, specifically in relation to diversity, equity and inclusion.
