We’re looking for a world class Payroll Manager to join team Snap! This leadership role is instrumental in leading best-in-class regional payroll service delivery, while providing critical input with the success of the overall global payroll service delivery approach.
In addition to leading a regional payroll team, this leader's focus will be multi-dimensional with delivery of exceptional service experience, regional and local country expertise, high degree of partner engagement, focus on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation, operational process excellence, while embodying an innovative spirit in the idea and delivery of future impacting services and solutions.
The Payroll Manager will collaborate with a team of existing payroll professionals and forward-thinking business partners throughout the company to support our finance structure.
What you’ll do:
Oversee regional country payroll operations, while leading a team of regional payroll professionals who are focused on timely and accurate payroll results, and who provide an exceptional service experience to regional partners and our associates
Work in partnership with all third-party providers, in providing optimal operational and service level expectations. Foster a relationship of teamwork and partnerships
Ensure regulatory compliance while continually monitoring and analyzing the constantly evolving regional regulatory landscape
Directly lead in all regional internal and external audits. Develop and solidify a regional state of operational audit readiness, which includes involving partners outside of payroll operations
In collaboration with the Head of Global Payroll, work to develop and leverage impacting metrics, which directly move operational levers for accelerated speed of impact with new and mitigating solutions
Establishes clearly defined department and individual goals and objectives and communicates to associates through department meetings and performance planning
Build strong cross-functional business partner relationships
Utilize their leadership and management experience with coaching, training and developing a highly focused, productive and purpose driven team
Artfully balance competing priorities while expectation setting with the business deliverable timeframes
Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner while accounting for the funding of all payroll deductions to third parties, including stock-based compensation and end-to-end payroll processes
Help coordinate payroll considerations for mobile employees and expats
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting as required
Assist in implementing payrolls in new countries, and participate/lead cross-functional projects
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
ADP Streamline (or similar global payroll system) experience
Experience with ADP’s US tax filing and direct deposit services
Excel proficient, subject matter expert preferred
Solid understanding of general payroll tax requirements and understanding of how payroll transactions impact the general ledger
Proven experience with designing and implementing operational improvements, controls and system enhancements
Exceptional organizational skills
Project Management: Accomplishes project requirements by monitoring results, controlling resources and modifying project plans.
Collaboration: Partners with fellow associates, supervisors, and departments; contributes and exchanges knowledge and skills to meet group needs and goals; participates in resolving issues
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Business or Accounting preferred)
7+ years of experience in multi-state US payroll
Workday payroll experience required
Experience processing stock-based compensation transactions required
Regional multi-country payroll experience across a minimum of 3+ countries
Experience working in a multinational organization engaged in global customer delivery
