About the Role
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will lead the go-to-market strategy for new features, create successful positioning that drive product growth, and generate customer insights for product development. You’ll be the go-to person for customer and competitive insights, and will impact product adoption of new and existing users. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and get to flex your critical thinking, creative, analytical, and digital marketing skills.

You'll report to the Senior Manager of Product Marketing and must be commutable to our NYC office. This role will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in our New York City office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with a range of cross-functional teams—product management and customer support —to develop go-to-market strategy and drive launches for new features and products
- Develop marketing assets to leverage across channels that support current positioning and product value props
- Support channel marketing and campaign planning, with strategic overview and guidance on assets that support new business acquisition and the unlock of new customer & market segments
- Develop compelling messaging and positioning frameworks that clearly differentiate GlossGenius from competitors and ensure this is reflected across channel assets
- Create a compelling digital experience for prospects to learn about our product through landing pages and main website, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Equip our enablement and sales teams with the resources needed to effectively sell and drive awareness across the field — including sales collateral, customer stories, and more
- Become the subject matter expert on our target audience while tracking market and competitive trends
- Drive customer research to identify product and marketing opportunities; talk regularly to customers and potential customers, and partner with product on research for new features and beta testing
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years experience consisting of Product Marketing and/or related functions
- Experience developing positioning and messaging campaigns, preferably for SaaS or fin-tech products
- A demonstrated self-starter who can take ownership of projects and drive them to completion
- Meticulous organizational skills, high attention to detail, strong project management and campaign planning experience
- You have deep empathy for users and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a non-technical audience
- Experience conducting customer research and synthesizing core insights

The starting base salary for this role in NYC is between $106,250-$125,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
