As an Account Director for Maven, your main objective is to cultivate and foster our client relationships by establishing and growing a book of business. Your objective is to learn our clients' hiring needs by conducting thorough intakes to better understand their company culture, organizational structure, and search pain points. You will be the liaison between our clients and our internal recruiting team as you manage job orders from start to placement! The ideal candidate has a passion for recruiting and thrives in a sales environment.

Role: Account Director (full-time position)
Location: Remote, working Pacific Hours
Compensation: Base + Uncapped Commission
What it Takes to be a Maven
Account Director Responsibilities
- Consistently develop new business through prospecting, phone and email outreach, and building your referral network
- Identify and cultivate new leads that convert into clients and candidate placements
- Coach clients through the interview cycle, provide feedback and direction when necessary
- Drive massive action with outbound sales via daily cold calls and emails/InMails
- Manage and close inbound leads via our website and referral-based network
- Cultivate relationships with key decision makers such as CEOs, Founders, CFOs, Heads of Recruiting, etc. and educate potential prospects on Maven's recruiting services
- Follow up with prospects via LinkedIn and e-mail and flex your creative writing muscles to secure BizDev connections
- Negotiate contract terms and drive closing conversations for clients
- Achieve weekly target goals and actively discover new ways to improve individual performance
- Collaborate with the team on priorities, pipeline, key projects, and intel on your clients and the status of your searches
Desired Experience
- 4+ years of business development, client management, and staffing experience
- Proven ability to grow a book of business through cold outreach, and growing a referral network
- Strong understanding of managing a search from start to finish
- Proven experience leading client conversations at every stage of the sales cycle
- Ability to navigate leading and guiding consultative client conversations from lead to placement
- Experience managing the candidate full life cycle process from sourcing and screening to interviewing and closing offers
