The Role
The Revenue Operations, Principal will play a pivotal role in optimizing and aligning our Sales-Led revenue-generating processes to drive growth and maximize efficiency. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the overall operational effectiveness of the sales, marketing, and customer success teams. This is a critical cross functional team member who will be directly responsible for supporting the operations of our highest priority GTM initiatives by enabling a smooth customer journey from self serve to sales led, growing pipeline, and enabling the development of new revenue streams from additional packages and add ons.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $169,100 - $225,500
Zone B: $152,200 - $202,900
Zone C: $140,400 - $187,100
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

- Foster strong collaboration between Sales and Marketing teams to ensure seamless lead generation, qualification, and conversion processes by constantly iterating and optimizing our lead scoring routing, and nurturing processes to drive sales efficiency.
- Implement and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators, and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvements.
- Manage the technology, infrastructure, and tracking of our sales led contact form.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, integration, and continued enablement of revenue technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Enable the operational aspects of our new packages and add ons, including the Loom AI Suite, Variables, and Loom for Sales. Sales-led processes, order form development, trial programs, etc.
- Work closely with sales leadership to develop and implement sales enablement programs, training, and tools in order to help exceed targets
- Improve customer success optimization by implementing processes to gather customer feedback and drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and retention strategies
- Work closely with Loom's Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership to uncover business insights to define strategies that deliver profitable revenue growth, grounded in operational reality
- Be a thought leader with seasoned sales and marketing leadership, define and monitor KPIs to consistently measure and communicate results, insights, and recommendations on the effectiveness and productivity of our sales led business
- Support the development and rollout of Scaled CX initiatives to handle the increased volume of SMB / MM SL accounts.
- Drive high priority initiatives including (but not limited to) long range and annual commercial strategic planning, input to pricing & packaging strategies, revenue resource planning and rules of engagement definition, territory optimization, quota setting, lead routing optimization, revenue productivity analysis, pipeline and forecast modeling
- Build investment business cases, secure alignment, and provide leading indicators to commercial and cross functional leaders that ensure investments are on track
- Foster a culture of impact, discipline around KPIs, rapid iteration, and effective communication of insights in order to drive decisions through data
- 6+ years of experience with strategy, revenue or corporate planning, and analytics
- Leadership, energy, presence, passion, discipline and influencing skills
- Past experience on a fast-growing sales team with a preference for hyper-growth and product-led companies. Comfortability in ambiguity
- Detailed knowledge of SaaS Sales and Marketing cycles and buyer behaviors
- Strong analytical skills and experience in developing and implementing strategies with clear business impact through a data driven approach
- Strong problem-solving skills, the ability and desire to find solutions and build processes where none previously exists
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives
- Thrives in a fast-paced, diverse, and highly collaborative team environment.
