Reporting into the Sales Leader Coach and aligned to one of our AMER Organizational Units, this person will lead a program that will build a sales leader coaching academy who will, in turn, train new first line leaders on the ‘Sales Leader Excellence’ model along with supporting sales leaders through 1:1 coaching. This person will be critical to ensuring leaders feel educated, advised, supported and work in close partnership with the local COO, Enablement Business Partner, ES and Talent Experience.

The Sales Leader Excellence Coach will be responsible for the execution of the sales leader excellence coaching strategy and support the creation of the academy, 1:1 coaching and leader training in their respective region. The outcome will be scaling our best sales leaders who can connect the dots across the business, coach leaders on sales excellence, improve participation metrics and instill a culture of coaching.
In strong collaboration with the Sales Leadership, we deliver a best in class coaching program and experience by:
- Understanding the key business requirements across their assigned AMER Organizational Unit to determine impact and benefit through Coaching and Training Programs
- Aligning the business needs to specific Coaching Programs from Onboarding to role-based training as a key driver for employee success, continuous learning and internal career growth
- Delivering high quality Coaching Programs to (i) instill a coaching culture in sales leaders (ii) drive sales operational excellence, standardization and processes to increase performance, (iii) build specific soft and business skill coaching with context based on data
Key objectives for the Global Coaching team in each region:
- Build Sales Leader Coaching Academy demonstrating best in class RVP’s to scale and multiply a culture of coaching
- Provide 1:1 Professional Coaching to sales leaders of varying tenure
- Partner with COE to develop coaching program for sales leaders (RM’s, Dir’s, RVP’s and AVP’s)
- Partner with Talent Development and Employee Success to ensure alignment with key leadership development programs
- Manage a blended learning model to include virtual classroom, webinars, self-paced and just in time learning, and event-based training (future), using conventional and new learning technologies
- Reduce time to productivity for Account Executives through world class sales leader coaching
- Contribute to increase in Account Executive Participation in pipeline and revenue and new sales leader metrics
- Ensure program has clarity of purpose, the tools required to meet their responsibilities, and an environment conducive to diversity of thought, innovation, and personal/career growth
Requirements:
- 10+ years in sales and sales management
- 3+ years in enablement (or building programs) with experience building coaching and leader programs
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Strong executive presence, communication and influence skills and ability to partner closely with sales leaders at all levels
- Comfortable presenting in front of large groups; advanced in storytelling skill
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
- Experience and/or completion of Professional Coach certification or training
- Experience supporting leader development
- Experience building and scaling a new practice
- Proven track record of producing and hosting educational events, driving adoption, and measuring the impact of enablement programs
- Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly, to new demands
- Ability to conduct, analyze, translate results to digestible communications including messages and presentations
- Highly collaborative and communicative with ability to build trust across partners
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to continuously guide a vision for a new team
- Courage to challenge perspective and give and receive honest feedback
- Light to moderate travel in FY23
