Atlassian is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Finance Strategic Transformation team. We are looking for a leader with strong Lead to Cash (LTC) expertise, exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, adaptability, and a willingness to challenge the status quo while driving with a sense of urgency. You will be joining our expanding Finance Strategic Transformation/TMO function and will play a key role in establishing industry-leading finance and accounting processes in a fast-paced SaaS environment. In this role, you will collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams across Finance, Business, Technology, and other departments. This highly visible position will require you to own and report on the LTC program and initiatives, delivering both long-term and short-term value realization. As an LTC thought leader, you will drive high-impact finance initiatives that contribute to our operational and financial goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dynamic environment of change within the SaaS industry and will assist in implementing LTC strategies to proactively address systemic finance and accounting needs and operational improvements. You will have the ability to drive change through key process improvements and systems implementations.

Responsibilities
- Lead our multi-year LTC transformation program roadmap with both long-term and short-term initiatives, including vendor selection, technology implementations, program and change management, and fostering a continuous process improvement mindset to enable Finance to support our business priorities.
- Manage finance transformation projects focusing primarily on the Lead to Cash cycle, encompassing Lead/Opportunity, Contract Management, Quoting/CPQ, Order Management, Revenue Recognition, Billing, Credit, Collections/Disputes, and Cash Application processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Legal, Product/Engineering, Finance GPOs, and IT to implement process improvements and technological solutions.
- Prepare business cases and executive communications to advocate for change.
- Identify, scope, and prioritize projects based on business needs. Develop detailed project plans, including approach, timelines, milestones, and resources, ensuring on-time and within-budget project delivery.
- Manage and communicate changes to program status, risks and dependencies. Identify, assess, and transparently escalate program issues / conflicts and suggest resolutions.
- Define data-driven frameworks and processes to identify, measure, and manage program success, focusing on business value, including benchmarking.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning, as well as industry trends and best practices in finance, and effectively apply this expertise in your work.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive experience in LTC program management and transformation, overseeing large-scale, complex cross-functional programs that delivered outcomes within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Comprehensive understanding of Finance Transformation, including areas such as PTP, RTR, and FP&A, is a plus.
- Capable of building and delivering compelling presentations and influencing executives.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Comfortable building and driving new frameworks and processes with cross-functional teams.
- Ownership mentality, intellectual curiosity, and an ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Thrives when challenging the status quo and setting new strategic/operational direction.
- Experience working with Agile Project and Portfolio Management tools such as Jira.
- Strong passion for designing and implementing solutions using next-generation technology such as data analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills including experience developing financial models for business forecasting.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $166,100 - $221,400
Zone B: $149,400 - $199,300
Zone C: $137,800 - $183,800
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
