Technical Network Designer
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Implementation:
o Develop and design network architecture for EV charging stations, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
o Implement network solutions to support EV charging infrastructure, ensuring high availability and redundancy.
o Integrate network systems with various hardware and software components of the EV charging stations.
• Network Management and Monitoring:
o Configure and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
o Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of EV charging infrastructure.
o Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades to support system scalability and reliability.
• Security and Compliance:
o Implement network security measures to protect EV charging stations from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network infrastructure.
o Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaboration and Support:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and operations personnel, to support network-related needs.
o Provide technical support and training to field technicians and support staff.
o Document network configurations, procedures, and policies for internal and external stakeholders.
• Innovation and Optimization:
o Stay updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the network infrastructure.
o Identify opportunities for network optimization and implement solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.
o Participate in research and development projects to advance EV charging network capabilities.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in the EV charging, renewable energy, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS).
• Experience with network equipment configuration and management (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• Knowledge of network security best practices and experience with security tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions and IoT integration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
