Outbrain is seeking a highly motivated, business oriented, self-reliant Product Analyst to join our Yield Team as a Yield Product Analyst.
In this role, you’ll serve as an analytics domain expert, work closely with our R&D and Algo team and work together with the team towards optimizing company performance and profitability by analyzing and understanding our unique marketplace behavior, through AB tests and in-depth analyses.

For this position, we are looking for a person with exceptional analytical skills, hands on experience in analyzing ab-test results using statistical tools, a leader with the ability of self-learning and delivering results.

A day in the life
- Work closely with many different teams and stakeholders and become the focal point for all Marketplace related analytics matters in the organization.
- Collaborate with the Yield Team and other relevant stakeholders to develop strategies for optimizing revenue and yield across the network.
- Continuously monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business questions or challenges.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Create, support and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to monitor products performance and evaluate the impact of new features and initiatives
- Get your hands dirty working with big data sets to provide useful actionable insights related to products – for both product and business stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Statistics / Information Systems or a related technical field a must
- 4+ years of proven hands-on experience in a data analytical role
- Experience in running and analyzing AB tests
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Experienced with data visualization tools a must (Tableau / Looker a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, visualization and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for driving continuous improvement
- Fast and independent learner
- Manage multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the digital space a must, and in Ad-tech a plus
