Position Overview
Would you like to play a critical role in driving a culture of Diversity and Belonging at Autodesk? We are looking for an exceptional Sr D&B (Diversity & Belonging) Business Partner with deep expertise to help us deliver on our diversity strategy and goals. You will report to the Director of Global Diversity Strategy, and this position will partner directly with business leaders and their teams in enabling them to define, scale, and communicate practical Diversity and Belonging strategies for their divisions including inclusive product design. You will be a trusted partner and align with stakeholders in a variety of orgs to integrate D&B strategies at each touchpoint of the talent life cycle.

This position can be 100% remote, based in the U.S. or in Canada. Travel is expected to be 10-15% per year.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business leaders, People Business Partners, and other key stakeholders to scale and localize Diversity & Belonging within each division
- Use subject matter expertise on industry best practices to find hotspots and diagnose areas of opportunity at both the corporate and divisional levels
- Work closely with the Diversity & Belonging Strategic Programs team to embed and scale centralized programming in each division
- Provide guidance and consult to People Business Partners and People Consultants, aka HR Managers and Employee Relations on matters with diversity and belonging implications
- In partnership with the Learning and Development team, inform the strategy and design of inclusive education and development opportunities taking the relevant needs of underrepresented talent into consideration
- Partner with the Talent Management team to inform talent management strategies that are intentionally inclusive and support the advancement of underrepresented high-potential talent
- Participate and, on occasion, lead strategic reviews with individual executive staff members to discuss progress towards diversity goals and strategy
- Work closely with internal communications to develop content and plan the execution of all internal communications including Autodesk's D&B newsletter, quarterly all-hands, internal presentations, etc.
- Leverage data to inspire action and drive outcomes across the company and name trends, insights, and gaps to inform strategy and relevant programming and intervention
- Partner with cross-functional teams within PPL and the greater organization to ensure that D&B is a critical consideration in all that we do to create an exceptional employee experience
- Continually enhance Autodesk's D&B practices through awareness of market/industry trends and sharing best practices
- Offer guidance and support to the various diversity and belonging councils/committees across Autodesk on how to align their efforts to the broader D&B strategies at both the divisional and corporate levels
- Offer guidance to stakeholders and partners in our product, solutions, and marketing organizations on how to build inclusive and culturally relevant products and brand experiences for a diverse range of customers around the world
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years in diversity, inclusion & belonging, talent development, learning & development, or strategic HR such as People Business Partnering
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven ability to motivate and influence senior leadership, key stakeholders, and employee networks
- Experience scaling global diversity & belonging strategy and initiatives
- Engaging presenter; able to articulate ideas, concepts and learning in a compelling and inspirational way
- Experience delivering learning solutions to teams and large audiences preferred
- Ability to appropriately balance autonomy with collaboration in managing multiple priorities and projects (individual and team)
- Strong ability to analyze, interpret, and glean insights from various sets of people data, including representation, advancement, and retention data
- Highly capable of telling compelling stories related to data that are relevant to business leaders
- Experience building and maintaining relationships across a highly matrixed organization
- Ability to turn complex ideas and challenges into simple pragmatic solutions
- Leads with integrity, maturity, and measure
- Basic understanding of inclusive product design principles
- Demonstrates authenticity and empathy while also able to engage in productive candor
- Has strong self and other awareness; growth mindset; highly adaptable to changing circumstances. Asks for help when needed
- Is open about their development opportunities
- Seeks, accepts, and processes feedback from managers, stakeholders, and peers
